Agenda
1) CITI meeting endorsement on CTS fee rationalization strategy that
will uncouple technology from phone charges. (Marsha)
2) Status on various initiatives covered in the "Cost Reduction
Memo from OIT/ITPB to the Chancellor". (Marsha)
3) Sakai update including the broader statement below (Jason/Joseph)
UCLA has an expensive number of academic and administrative applications
under development, many of which require the same data items. At a
campus level a data warehouse project is under way while at a department
level course management systems are being implemented.
How do we to leverage strategic UCLA investment in systems like my.ucla?
The needfor a coordinated effort is stronger than ever.
I would recommend that a data conference be held where the key players
(the CSG members, and several other invited participants) focus around
getting short and longterm needs on the table and at least a common
understanding of what is planned and happening can be shared.
